The Interior of the Church of the Assumption

The Church of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary stands with quiet dignity on the corner of Main and Iberia Streets, on the western edge of Franklin's boulevard.

The exterior of the building, stately and grand, gives little clue to passersby of the beauty that is within. From the gilded ceiling, to the elaborate German stained glass windows, to the magnificent terrazzo floors, the parishioners of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary have poured their love into this monument to their Catholic Faith.
