POPES TO SAINTS
Administrator, Monday 16 June 2014 - 13:36:07

Christ, make me become and remain the servant of Your unique power, the servant of Your sweet power, the servant of Your power that knows no eventide. Make me be a servant. Indeed, the servant of Your servants.
Blessed John Paul II

Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.
Blessed John XXIII

April 27, 2014 marked a very special, historic, and eventful day in the Catholic Church and the world:

THE CANONIZATION OF POPE JOHN PAUL II & POPE JOHN XXIII

Pope John XXIII was born on November 25, 1881 and died on June 3, 1963. He lived by his motto of obedience and peace which became the root of his sainthood.

Pope John Paul II was born on May 18, 1920 and died on April 2, 2005. It was said that we would have a future saint in the Pope because of his pious ways, his prayer habit and his value of life.

Pope Francis, in his homily during the Mass at St. Peter’s square stated, ”They were priests, bishops and popes of the 20th century. They lived through the tragic events of that century, but they were not overwhelmed by them. For them, God was more powerful."

Saint John Paul II, pray for us.
Saint John XXIII, pray for us.
